A recent graduate of San Francisco State University, Keeyan left school to pursue a career in film production. Keeyan is currently working on a screenplay for the feature film Lost in Tehran to be filmed in Tehran, Iran in 2009.

Keeyan also is an avid photographer specializing in travel photography.
